Friday nights I usually go to yoga, but last Friday yoga lost, wine won. Que sera sera.

CAMERA ROLL SURPRISES

I was looking through my camera roll this week and found lots of photos from our wedding night, (as strange as that sounds, not inappropriate, weird photos) We drank a lot of champagne, and so therefore a hotel room photo shoot was guaranteed.

SUPERSTARS

Last week I finally got round to buying some new Adidas Superstars. I had some in about 2001 and wore them every minute I wasn't at school, so wearing them now is like a weird flashback. I love them more this time round than I did the first. They quite literally go with every outfit, I even contemplated wearing them on a night out. (I didn't) however I feel I may need a superstar intervention soon.
 

SECOND HAND BEAUTY

I found this stunning coat on eBay the other day. Vintage M&S wool beauty. I've been looking for one for so long, I'm glad I held out, as this one is completely perfect. And was the bargain price of £30. 

My only issue is that it really smells. It's in mint condition, but has obviously been sitting in a smelly house for a while (as most vintage/second hand things do I suppose) but I have a very sensitive nose and so I'm on a mission to get it smelling like clean linen. It's going to the dry cleaners this week. 

It's beautiful all the same!

HUARACHE

It was Tom's birthday a couple of weeks ago. I knew he had wanted these beeeeeeeeeautiful trainers for a very long time, but of course they are extremely hard to find (unless you're will to pay £100s on eBay!) I spent a few weeks working in Stuttgart when we got back from our honeymoon, and searched everywhere for them, but no luck. 

On my first day back at work in York I called into Office to see what other trainers they had, and there they were, all black Nike Huaraches, I think my heart stopped for a second I got so excited! They had one pair left, and they were in his size, of course.

A birthday present that was meant to be.
